Upper Chapel front projectionDocfest

DocFest is an exciting week long international festival of documentary films, and Upper Chapel is delighted to be used as a venue for some of the screenings during the festival. Offering a wealth of inspirational documentary films from across the globe, DocFest attracts people from all over the world.

Music in the Round

Music in the Round is a series of classical concerts taking place in and around the Crucible Studio Theatre in Sheffield, an intimate venue ‘in the round’. Its ‘in the round’ format means audiences are on all four sides, which together with the informality of their concerts provides concert-goers with a uniquely intimate experience that cannot be matched by other formats.

Chance to Dance

Chance to Dance is a community celebration of dance in Sheffield city centre for local dance groups and the chance for everyone to join in. This one day festival was established in 2000 and involves around 30 different dance groups on open ‘stages’ across the city centre.

A Christmas Carol, reading by the Dickens Fellowship

The Sheffield branch of the ‘Dickens Fellowship’ meets at the Chapel and performs a reading of ‘A Christmas Carol’ usually in early December, with a voluntary collection for charity.
